Youth sports and activities are a great way for young people to learn valuable life skills. One of the best ways to reinforce these skills that young people learn is to support and encourage them in a positive way. Some ways to do this include praise and building confidence, reminding them to follow coaches and officials instructions, and most importantly remind them to have fun! Check out the National Center for Catholic Youth Sports website for many more great resources and tips to help you support and encourage young people as they are involved with sports and activities.
