Teens Encounter Christ (TEC) is an intergenerational movement focusing on youth who are engaged in living out their passage from youth to young adulthood. TEC seeks to intervene into the lives of youth within its age range to "make the mystery of Christ, dying and rising, in His Church" present to them. By presenting the Paschal Mystery of Christ, this evangelization movement seeks to help youth work out their faith commitment and vocation within the concrete realities of their young lives.  The core of the TEC movement is the proclamation of the central Christian message—the Paschal Mystery. Youth not only hear about death, resurrection, and mission in Christ, but experience these mysteries.

The TEC weekends begin on Saturday morning and end on Monday afternoon.

The Teens Encounter Christ Program, Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry and the Diocese of Grand Island reserve the right to use photos and video of all team and participants for marketing and publicity purposes.

TEC 2010-2011 Schedule:

At this time, there are no Teens Encounter Christ Weekends scheduled. The dates will be posted as soon as they are available.

We are excited this year to partner with Thriva, LLC, a division of the Active Network to process Teens Encounter Christ Registrations and payments electronically.  This allows a parent/guardian to create an account that will save all of their information and then they can use the same information to register for other events in the future.  When registering for events through this system, payment will be required with either a credit card or electronic check. Click here to register for a Teens Encounter Christ Weekend.
