Catechist Formation

As a diocese, we are called on a mission to lead others into an encounter with Christ. This can be accomplished in a variety of ways and in a unique way through catechesis. In order to equip those who serve as catechists for such a task, they need to be empowered and the grace within them needs to be stirred. The Diocese of Grand Island has partnered with Franciscan University of Steubenville's Catechetical Institute. With a paid subscription, parishes or individuals are able to take advantage of all the online workshops that are beneficial for a variety of ministries. Whether you minister to children, youth, or adults, there is a workshop for you. This is a great follow up to the diocesan's Lead to Encounter formation program.
