The Diocese of Grand Island’s Heroic Virtue Family Retreat offers three days of real-life formation, fun family activities, beautiful liturgies, and worship. Accompanied by priests, religious, and lay leaders, families are empowered to live out their calling as disciples on the path to holiness.

Every home a safe haven… that is the goal of Safe Haven Sunday, a movement inspired by the United States’ Bishops 2015 Pastoral Response to Pornography, Create in Me a Clean Heart. The US Bishops recognize that the impact of pornography is far reaching. This year participating parishes will be supporting parents in confidently talking with their children about pornography exposure. The book Confident: Helping Parents Navigate Online Exposure will be distributed or made available through an online link.

This program is for those who have completed sixth, seventh, or eighth grade in the spring of 2025. At HGXF, middle schoolers come together at Camp Maranatha where they get to experience the joy of Christ in an amazing week of faith, fun, and friends.
High school freshmen through graduating seniors from any parish within the diocese are eligible to attend the Diocese sponsored Steubenville of the Rockies Conference. This event offers youth an opportunity to connect with other believers their age and creates an environment that helps young people be open to what God has to say to them.
