This year's Grand Island Diocesan pilgrimage will be January 17-22, 2023, and is in conjunction with the Diocese of Lincoln.
Registration Open
Student Registration January 22 has been the day which hundreds of thousands of ardent pro-lifers, Catholic and non-Catholic, commemorate the unfortunate anniversary of the legalization of abortion by the Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade. It has been a peaceful and prayerful way to give a voice to the voiceless unborn children. This year we return to Washington on the 50th anniversary of the first March for Life to celebrate the overturning of Roe v. Wade, and to demonstrate our resolve to support women and to protect the unborn.
This trip is open to all high school students. The trip includes round-trip transportation, housing, some meals, and touring of Washington D.C. monuments and other sites. We march to support the right to life of every unborn child as part of a Pro-life Generation.
Registration Cost for youth from the Diocese of Grand Island is $400 when using the discount code offered in the registration process. The trip must be paid in full by December 16, 2022. Registration is open to all high school students. Buses will leave early afternoon January 17th. Arrival back to the diocese will be at approximately 6 p.m. on January 22, depending on weather and traffic.
Adults interested in leading our youth on this pilgrimage, please contact the youth office at yya@gidiocese.org. Adult leaders must be approved by the Diocesan Youth Office and the Grand Island Diocese will provide a discount for your cost.
