Heartbeat Bills in Ohio and Georgia Make Headlines
Ohio's Heartbeat Bill was signed into law by the governor, and will soon be followed by Georgia. Ohio is the latest state to ban abortion after a fetal heartbeat can be detected (around the 6th week of pregnancy). The ACLU plans to challenge Ohio's law in court.

"Pain Capable" Hearing in the Senate Judiciary Committee
Abortion survivors testified before the Senate about a bill to ban abortion after 20 weeks, when there is consensus that babies feel pain. Only 7 countries including the US allow abortion this late. Archbishop Naumann says "it is time" to pass this bill!

White House Screens "Gosnell"
On Friday, the White House hosted a screening of "Gosnell" for 150 pro-life leaders. Administration officials made the connection between Gosnell's murder of infants born alive and the current need for a "born alive" bill protecting babies from infanticide.
